When is it
Masters Grand Prix is back at Wodbourn Road stadium for a whole day of outdoor track and field action on Saturday 11th July 2020.
We are delighted to announce that our event will incorporate the Yorkshire Vets Track and Field Championship too. So if you’re a member of a Yorkshire Vets affiliated club you will be eligible to win medals on the day.
If you’re not an affiliated Yorkshire athlete, no problem, no changes, just come and take part.
Coronavirus / Covid-19
It is our intention and hope that we can still have the event on Saturday 11th July. But we will take advice and guidance from both the government and England Athletics.
If needs be, there are potential dates available through August and September that we could move to.
We will try everything we can to get this event on before the end of the summer season and give ample notice before opening online entries.
Who can enter
This event is open to ANYONE 35 years or older regardless of whether they are in a club or not.
See the post about how inclusive we want to these events: https://www.mastersgrandprix.co.uk/what-is-masters-athletics/
We want people to come down and try these events regardless of ability. Just come and have some fun.

Yorkshire Vets Championship
We are delighted to have teamed up with Yorkshire Vets and are incorporating their 2020 track and field championship into our event.
To be eligible to win a medal (first 3 finishers in all events) you need to be a member of a YVAA affiliated club.
You can find out if your club is affiliation here: https://www.yvaa.org/membership/
If your club is not affiliated, you need to ask your club Secretary to pay the small yearly affiliation fee.
If you are not from the Yorkshire region or your club is not affiliated, then nothing changes, just enter the events you wish and come run, jump and throw.
What will it cost
Entry will cost £8 for the first event and £4 for each subsequent event.
We have created a Facebook event. It would be really useful you could share this with your friends, fellow athletes and within your clubs.
Can the family come and watch
Yes, there are hundreds of seats for spectators and they can come along for free. There is a small cafe within the stadium as well as a few vending machines for snacks etc.
